On a Swiss train running from Geneva airport to St. Gallen, you’ll be able to relax in the worlds first Starbucks cafe on rails.
The service starts November 21st and commuters taking a longer journey can relax in plush chairs and share a communal table in the upper deck of the car, while those on shorter journeys can hang out at the bar on the lower level.
This rail cafe is the first of it’s kind ever developed by Starbucks, in conjunction with Switzerland’s rail network SBB.
Waitstaff will also serve customers, another first for Starbucks.
It’s almost like riding first class, but for the price of a cup of coffee.
Read more about how the concept was developed at Fast Company, and even more at Starbucks’ post, All Aboard the First Starbucks on a Train.
